Nate Prouty
Vice President for Accounts
As Vice President for Accounts, Nate Prouty works with advocacy organizations, volunteer groups, businesses large and small, and trade associations to foster support and participation in clients’ community-based objectives. For nearly two decades, Nate has worked with clients and partners in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Michigan, Oklahoma and Nebraska on a wide variety of topics, including energy, biotechnology, healthcare and outdoor recreation, to name a few.
Nate’s valuable contributions to Public Affairs Company are preceded by a notable history of service in the public sector. Combining his experience in communications and media relations with his managerial skills and creative talents, Nate has directed successful constituent outreach campaigns at the local, state and federal levels. He has held posts with the Minnesota House of Representatives, the Congressional Office of Mark Kennedy, the Minnesota Department of Education and the Office of Governor Tim Pawlenty.
Nate currently serves on the board of Directors of ServeMinnesota, which runs the AmeriCorps programs Minnesota Reading & Minnesota Math Corps for underserved children. He has been appointed and reappointed by three Minnesota Governors.
Nate holds a degree in political science from Minnesota State University, Mankato. He resides in the South Metro with his wife and family.
